About Me

Creating and preserving wealth that spans generations is science.  Lock BinghamCreating and preserving a legacy that is as equally enduring is art.  My ability to bring both capabilities to my client experience is what differentiates my financial advisory practice.

Many highly affluent individuals and families live lives most people don't understand.  They have a distinctive way of life that is difficult for outsiders to interpret and appreciate.  I know this to be so because  I have seen all of the realities of substantial wealth up close and personal.  I have seen how decisions have impacted the lives of multiple family members, generations that follow, and our community at large.  What I have learned inspires me as an advisor and helps me build the type of financial practice that highly affluent people seek but rarely find.

What sets my advisory practice apart from others is the uncommon breadth and depth of my perception of wealth.  I have degrees in business and music which has helped me realize that wealth management practiced at its highest level is both science and art.  For that reason, every financial strategy I create is not only meticulously fact-based and science driven, but also embedded with the artistic imprint of a client's unique goals, identity, and vision.

Yes, wealth management is about the money, and I've acquired the sophisticated level of expertise and experience that managing exceptional wealth requires.  But it's especially about family, friends, passions, causes, community, and so much more.

The type of conversations I have with my select clients are atypical in the wealth management profession because they are often as personal as they are professional.  We have intimate, peer-to-peer discussions that touch upon all the dimensions of their wealth.  We of course talk money, but we also share thoughts about the people, passions, and causes that give greater meaning to their lives.

The deeper, long-term relationships I cultivate with my clients enables me to streamline the complexities of their wealth in the present while positioning them better to capitalize on opportunities that arise in the future.  For some, this includes providing guidance across generational lines and perpetuating their legacies through philanthropy for the arts.
